Snow situation has been challenging in Southeastern Finland during the end of December and in the beginning of the January. Some parts of original terrain has a lack of snow. Especially the terrain of the middle distances and relays needs more snow.

Competitions will be hold at Imatra even thought more snow won’t come. In the terrains of sprint, sprint relay and even long distance has enough snow. Also weather forecast is promising and organizer is looking forward positively.
